How much space to partition for windows 8 on mac if only using for excel

While Partition Wizard was resizing, it was also moving files around. I then tried Partition Wizard, which did work. I then used EaseUS Partition Master in Windows XP to increase use the newly freed up hard disk space, but the extra space would never show up after rebooting into XPĤ. OS X Console messages repeatedly said that the virtual machine was ignoring resize requests ('NUMA: Automatic sizing request ignored')ģ. The virtual machine did not resize automatically. I increased the size of the HD in Fusion Settings/Hard DiskĢ. My Windows XP virtual machine (formatted in FAT) has only 700 MB of free space, so I tried to increase its size from 32GB to 48 GB.ġ.

I am running XP as a virtual disk with Fusion 4.1.3 on a MacBook Pro (OS X 10.6.8 Snow Leopard) with a 500 GB Drive abd 4 GB of RAM. After increasing my Windows XP virtual machine, I cannot run Microsoft programs.
